So either some people are going to understand this.
dyslexia itself can be difficult itself to handle and frustrating at times. I know been trying to work with it while I have been at university. For me I was scared that whether the university will help support me in my needs and with understand that i need time. For me this was a big thing and when i got to university and i had support put in place from the uni and DSA
(IF YOU HAVE NOT APPLIED FOR DSA…. DO IT, IT’S SO WORTH IT !!)
I felt that I was so much happier to know that there was thing to help me.
i do have to admit some time the lectures didn’t know but when you told them straight away the just took it and change the whole approach to you with asking if you are okay and take there time out for you so that you don’t feel like your just being “the stupid kid”.
For each of my lectures I thank them for taking the time out me and getting to know where my strength and weaknesses where and helping me with so that I was reaching my full potential
